Analyze Body Poses Using AI
We use state of the art artificial intelligence to automatically analyze the body in motion and generate meaningful measurements.
AI capabilities are getting so powerful that we can now quite accurately determine and track a human skeleton overlay of the human form. This capability, often referred to as pose estimation, is surprisingly powerful as a starting point for analyzing human (and animal) form in imagery for myriad applications. We at Xyonix have built a platform that makes it easy to analyze many different activities for our clients using just a cell phone and some fancy tools in the cloud. Check out the video above.
Our body pose analysis can be used on any number of activities. From sports medicine and performance to physical rehabilitation and even disease and condition analysis, the possibilities for automatically analyzing human or animal movement cheaply on a smartphone are endless.
Here at Xyonix we are helping a customer build models to help screen for early developmental disorders in infants. Deep learning techniques using the infant pose estimation significantly outperform results applied to video frames themselves. In addition to assisting physicians with diagnoses, pose estimation can be used in sports and rehabilitation therapy applications like automatically analyzing posture, gait and other body poses as you can see in our video and articles above. Human pose analysis can also be quite helpful in identifying areas of improvement for athletes, such as optimizing a runners form, a golfers swing, or a soccer goalies dives. Other key areas where pose estimation can be quite helpful include assisted living (fall detection), character animation (alleviates the need for costly sensors), video games, and animal behavior understanding.
There are far too many activities that can benefit from our computer vision and activity analysis platform to list here. Not seeing your activities listed? Fill out the form below, perhaps we can help.
